Noel Haydt for Mayor · Norfolk County 2026

A Better Norfolk
Starts With Better
Execution. Practical leadership. Real results.

Norfolk County has enormous potential — but residents are increasingly frustrated by rising costs, delayed projects, and systems that are more complicated than they need to be. Noel Haydt is running to change that.

Why Noel is running

"Norfolk doesn't have a vision problem.
It has an execution problem."

Norfolk County is a community with real strengths — its land, its people, its location. But too often, good ideas stall. Infrastructure projects run over budget and behind schedule. Industrial opportunities pass us by. Red tape slows down the people who want to invest here and build here.

Noel Haydt has seen this firsthand — as a councillor, as a business owner, and as a resident who cares deeply about the future of this county. He's running because Norfolk deserves leadership that doesn't just plan — it delivers.

"Other municipalities are competing aggressively for jobs, investment, and growth. Norfolk cannot afford to fall behind. We need practical leadership that understands both how government works and how projects actually get delivered."
— Noel Haydt, May 2026

His platform

Four priorities for a stronger Norfolk

01

Fix the Numbers

Budgets that reflect reality. Plans that match what can actually be delivered. Growth that pays for itself — not future taxpayers.

02

Build Real Growth

Expand Norfolk's industrial and commercial tax base. Attract investment. Create jobs that keep families here and bring new ones in.

03

Deliver Infrastructure

Roads, water, and services — planned properly and built on time. No more overplanning and underdelivering on what residents were promised.

04

Modernize Services

Use technology to make government easier to deal with — faster approvals, better public access to information, and lower long-term costs.
